Good Afternoon All,

I hope everyone has had a good week. I have a couple of things for you today as follows:

1. Broadview Avenue Construction Update

• As you may recall the City had to replace the water main on Broadview from Danforth to Gerrard this past Fall and into the Holiday Season. We're now at the point where the contractor will be returning to do the restoration work - this work includes the permanent paving of the road and sidewalks.
• The work is scheduled to begin next Wednesday, April 6 and will continue until Thursday, April 14, weather permitting.
• We've been working with the City to ensure that this last part of the construction is done before May and the start of the CafeTO season.

2. Our New Broadview Danforth Street Signs

Way back in 2019 we had changed our BIA's name to Broadview Danforth BIA and created a new logo. At that time we put in a request to the City to update all of our BIA street signs. Well..... covid hit and things were put on hold. With the help of Councillor Fletcher's office and the City's BIA office we were able to resurrect the work order and get things back on track and yesterday and today our new signs were installed! Attached is a photo I took this afternoon at the corner of Danforth and Broadview. It's nice to get this checked off our list!
