Celebrate soccer, music, and community on the Danforth with The World Within Our Neighbourhood — a free summer event bringing people together through the joy of the beautiful game. Join the Broadview Danforth BIA on June 12 and 13 for outdoor match-day fun, live music, family-friendly activities, local performances, and a special viewing party for Canada’s opening match against Bosnia and Herzegovina. The celebration continues through July 2 with musicians performing in CafeTO parkettes across the neighbourhood, representing cultures and countries from around the world. Come cheer, explore, dance, eat, shop, and experience the incredible mix of global sounds, local businesses, and community spirit that make Broadview Danforth feel like the world in one neighbourhood.

Irina Rapaport
Based in Toronto, Irina Rapaport Jewellery and Textiles is a slow design studio.
Irina started making jewellery in 2005 and her textile collage eco-friendly clothing line in 2013. She is mainly self-taught. Trained in art and architecture, Irina draws her influences largely from patterns, geometry and textures. Space and the third dimension are an integral part of her design concept. The artist is recognized for her originality, she is challenging the notion of what is “conventional” jewellery and clothing…taking it into the realm of the unusual, the enigmatic, the unexplored. The spontaneous quality of her wearable art makes each creation authentic, original and one-of-a-kind. All of her pieces are designed and hand-crafted in Toronto.
Irina Rapaport is the winner of 2014 Best in Show Jewellery Award at Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition and Best Wearable Art at Haliburton Art and Craft show, 2018.
