You're Invited to Attend a Budget Town Hall this Tuesday

Good Afternoon BIA Members,

Councillor Fletcher will be hosting a virtual budget town hall this coming Tuesday, Feb. 3 starting at 7pm.  Full details are below.  Please note that you need to register to join the meeting - the registration link is included below as well.

As business owners I encourage you to attend.  Your collective voices about what the City could be doing better for business owners is so important.  The City has the small business property tax subclass which provides a 15% reduction on property taxes, but are there other things that the City could consider in the upcoming budget that would directly assist you as a business owner.  As an example, reduction for City service fees for small business owners - garbage collection, water/sewage.
You may have other ideas - this is your opportunity to have your say.

Thanks,

Susan
