Our World Within Our Neighbourhood Celebrations last weekend:
We had an amazing turnout for our events last Friday and Saturday. A huge thanks to our sponsors: City of Toronto, Green P, The Danforth Music Hall and No Frills Broadview.

In case you missed all of the activities, Eszter, our social media manager, posted a great compilation.  Here's the link:

Taste Registrations:
Greektown BIA will continue to accept registration packages for the rest of this week and they've waived the late fees.  Their office hours for this week are:
Wednesday (June 17): 9:30AM - 6:00PM
Thursday (June 18): 12PM - 6:00PM
Friday (June 19): 9:30AM - 5:00PM
BIA Housekeeping:
Weeding
We've hired a company to take care of the weeds in our BIA.  Last summer we tried using City services but the results were far from acceptable and timely.  Weeding will occur on the 15th of each month through to early Fall.
Pole Wraps
I've noticed one or two BIA members taping event/sale posters to our pole wraps.  The poles aren't to be used for this purpose.  If you do so, the posters will be taken down.   It also encourages others to tape posters to our pole wraps.  We're trying to keep our BIA clean and tidy.  I'm also asking all of you to help - if you see something taped to our poles please take it down or email me with the location and I will remove it.  I try to catch them all but extra eyes would be appreciated.
General Area Cleaning
We have a maintenance man who handles watering our planters and general clean-up - including removing garbage from our planters and the CafeTO parkettes.  Again, I'm asking for your help - please keep the fronts of your businesses swept and tidy.

Thanks,
Susan
