Recently our Board Chair, Albert Stortchak, and I met with Jack Wiley from Alpha House located at 647 Broadview Avenue (just outside of our BIA boundary). Established in 1972, Alpha House is a Toronto recovery community supporting men rebuilding their lives after addiction treatment. Attached please find a full information sheet on the work that they do.
On August 31 (Overdose Awareness Day) they will host a Run For Recovery event in Riverdale park. If any of you would be interested in donating prizes please feel free to reach out to Jack Wiley directly. Jack's email is:
