Happy October All,
The month of October is a time to celebrate and promote our amazing small businesses. To this end we'd like to take the week of October 15 - October 21 (Monday - Sunday) to promote and celebrate the wonderful businesses that make up our Danforth BIA. Here's the plan:
1. On Saturday, October 13th Eszter (our social media manager) and myself will be in the hood shooting little videos of consumers - we will be asking them to tell us why they love our area. We will post these videos on our social media outlets and our website throughout the week of October 15. We can also share them with any of you who would like to post them on your social media outlets.
2. We will also be reposting a retrospective of all of the business owners who have participated to date in our Faces & Places profiles. For those of you who haven't participated in this initiative but would like to please just let me know. It's super easy - we come in and take a photo of you in your business or just a photo of your business (your choice) and we ask you a couple of questions about your business. We then post the profile on our social media and website outlets.
3. Special Promotional Offers - if you would like to offer something special to consumers during the week of Oct. 15 - Oct. 21 please let us know. It can be anything that you like - half price appetizer, 10% off a purchase - whatever you like and whatever works for you. We will promote the offers on our website and again on all of our social media outlets. The offer would be valid just for the week unless you specify otherwise. We would need you to email me with the details of your offer no later than next Wednesday, October 10th.
