Join the Broadview Danforth BIA on June 12 and 13 for outdoor match-day fun, live music, family-friendly activities, local performances, and a special viewing party for Canada’s opening match against Bosnia and Herzegovina. The celebration continues through July 2 with musicians performing in CafeTO parkettes across the neighbourhood, representing cultures and countries from around the world. CECRA Extended to Cover September Rent

Good Afternoon All,

Our NDP MPP Peter Tabuns just let me know that the Federal and Provincial governments announced this morning that CECRA is extended for one month - which covers September rent. Here is the link with the announcement.

September rent was due a week ago today so for those of you who are in the CECRA program I believe that the 100% rent you paid last Tuesday would now cover your 25% payment for September and the remainder can be put towards your October rent.

To our government reps included in the top send line of this email - this extension is certainly welcome but to make the decision a week after rent is due is really difficult on our small businesses and landlords. The stress each month of not knowing what the governments (Federal and Provincial) plan to do is overwhelming. If the decision is to extend CECRA or launch a new plan for the rest of the Fall we ask that details be released in advance of October 1st.
