This is a reminder that we will be hosting a holiday event this Saturday, December 4th from noon to 2pm in the courtyard of the Carrot Common.  The Jingle Belles will be carolling, we will be giving away our fabulous Broadview Danforrth BIA tote bags, copies of NEXT Magazine - the latest creation of our BIA member Michael Hollett, our 6ft. inflatable Love of Local Shopping Llama will be launching our Love of Local shopping scavenger hunt, AND.... we have partnered with Toronto Miracle.  This is a volunteer based group who are trying to collect 250,000 lbs of non-perishable items in one day - this Saturday!  So we will be accepting donations at our set-up at the Carrot Common and our BIA member, Loblaws on Broadview, will also be accepting donations and contributing to the drive!

 

I'm hoping that you can all help get the word out via your social media platforms between now and Saturday.  Attached please find files that you can use for Instagram, Twitter and FB.  The graphics promote the Love of Local part of the event and I would ask that you include a special request for people to drop off items for the Miracle Toronto component.  A personal message from you in your posts will go a long way and every little bit helps make a BIG miracle happen!
