I have a few items to pass along today:
1. Lifting of the Mask Mandate
You've all heard that the mask mandate will be lifted on Monday, March 21/22. Masks will still be required in certain settings: TTC, hospitals, long term care facilities, jails. I know that there are mixed feelings about the lifting of this mandate. Each business can decide what they wish to do. If you decide to continue to implement the use of masks in your business I would suggest that you post this information where customers can see it before entering your business.
2. Greek Independence Parade Returns
With the lifting of restrictions the Greek Community of Toronto has decided to proceed with their annual parade. The City is currently allowing this parade to take place on Sunday, March 27/22 and Danforth will be closed to traffic from Broadview to Donlands from 11am to 4pm on that day. Should there be any change in the plans between now and the 27th I will let you know.
